Pravila
- Na Festivalu može sudjelovati najviše dvoje učenika iz svake škole.
- Publika mora tijekom natjecanja održati mr i tišinu kako bi natjecatelji imali idealne uvjete za nadmetanje
- Tijekom natjecanja svi natjecatelji sjede, a u svakom krugu ustaju jedan po jedan kako bi sricali riječ koju im zadaju suci.
Prvi je krug probni krug.
Natjecatelji prvo ponove riječ (čime označuju početak sricanja), zatim riječ sriču i naposljetku još jednom ponove riječ (čime označuju kraj sricanja).
Kada je riječ krivo sricana, natjecatelj ispada iz izazova sricanja.
Natjecatelj može zatražiti sljedeće pomoći (neograničen broj puta, birajući koje god poželi):- ponavljanje riječi
- prijevod
- uporabu riječi u rečenici
- porijeklo riječi
- vrstu riječi
- ponavljanje svih slova sricanih do trenutka kada je natjecatelj zaustavio sricanje (nakon što mu sudac ponovi sricana slova, on nastavlja tamo gdje je sudac stao, ne ponavlja ono što je sudac rekao).
Posljednji natjecatelj koji ostane je pobjednik.
Rules
- The Festival is limited to two students per school.
- The audience has to keep quiet during the competition, so that the competitors can be focused to the maximum.
- During the competition, the competitors sit, get up one by one as the judges give them words to spell in every round.
The first round is a trial round.
The competitors first repeat the word (signalling they are ready to spell), then spell the word, and in the end, repeat the word once more (signalling they are done with the spelling).
If the word has been misspelt, the competitor is out of the competition.
The competitor can ask the judge for help in the following ways (unlimited number of times, choosing as many of them as they wish):- repeating the word
- translating the word
- using the word in a sentence
- providing the origin on the word
- providing the type of the word
- repeating the letters that the competitor has spelt until the moment they got stuck (once the judge has spelt the letters for them, they continue with the spelling, without repeating what the judge had spelt).
The last competitor to stay in the round wins.
