Hi everyone! I’m Antea and today I’m going to write about my place where I live.
It’s called Tučepi and it’s a little paradise in Dalmatia. I have lived here for almost 13 years and I know that there isn’t too many restaurants, hotels, or markets because it’s a small place. But what I know too is that it is perfect to come here and spend your summer-time with family and friends. You can go to the beach and have picnics, fun games and in summer you can enjoy the beautiful Adriatic sea. When summer starts, tourists come and look for a free room and that’s a little bit funny because in their expectation they come in the first house and find the perfect room, with a balcony and even the price is good. And in a reality first they look for the free room during whole day but when they find it, it’s not so good and it’s very expensive. We have beautiful beaches, one great mountain Biokovo which is perfect for hiking. We have summer sports like water skiing, jet skies… Our restaurants serve fish and other see food. Honestly I don’t like fish and I know that is weird. Some houses even have pools. My friend has the pool and a sauna and he even has a gym which is wonderful, too. In an old villages that are on the mountain my friends have apartments made of stone with the most beautiful view on our gorgeous beach.
The best thing in summer is when my sister, my friends and I go to the beach but guess what!? We go at night when the sky is perfect, full of stars, we are on the beach, next to the sea. We can feel love in the air. And the most important thing for us is to be happy… with persons that we really love.
