Tourism has huge impact on economy, the industry and environment. It builds local identity and in some countries it is a life support system.
People who are looking for a nice holiday vacation with their family and friends wouldn’t want to travel to some boring place with no interesting places and polluted environment. Why should they spent their hard earned money on unejoyable trips that would leave nothing but bad memories and regret of spending money and time?
That’s why it is important to have economic vitality, healthy communities and natural, unpolluted environment. One must require maintaining a high level of tourist satisfaction.
If you were a tourist and had to choose between two travel companies, one providing the tourists with the best, funny and enjoyable content and the other one with few boring destinations in which you would do nothing but yawn, which one would you choose? The first one, of course!
One of main focuses in tourism, besides making money, is, or at least should be, tourist’s comfort. No comfort equals no money! One can’t make money if others aren’t enjoying themselves.
That is why tourism companies have to offer a variety of interesting contents, such as sightseeing, heritage, local cuisine, public facilities and fun trips.
Today, the technology is much more advanced and every day there is something new presented to the users. Every day there are new trends and changes in the minds of the modern society. One simply cannot expect the guests having an outdated technology and things that were popular in the ’80s.
It is very important for tourist or travel companies to be constantly on alert to detect any changes, new trends or issues so that they can make the neccesary adjustments to their business. But they must never forget about the nature!
Sustainable development is important in a way that economic, social and aesthetic needs can be fulfilled while taking care of cultural integrity, biological diversity, ecological processes and life support systems.
To many people making memories is really important. They want to look back at the time they were on holidays of their life and with longing look at the best times they ‘ve ever had.
